S8N8 – mit Grenze (S8N8 – with border) is a fake private film about visiting the German DDR – BRD border. It is not sure on which side we are, but on the other side there is a lot of military, a sunset resembling the detonation of an atomic bomb and beaches. The family which is visiting the border may think about crossing.
This video is made with found footage from a Super 8 camera from the 1960´s. The owners of the cameras are unknown but the short parts of their lives which they filmed are all part of this past world. Aa world with a border between east and west.
